A sensor platform combined with a 433 Mhz transmitter. This makes it very easy to simply add up to 4 sensors - analog or digital - just by soldering them onto the pads. Full
assembly instructions are available. It automatically transmits the sensor values once per hour.
There are three transmissions options:
1. Sensor values are transmitted hourly.
2. Sensor value are transmitted every 10 minutes. Both these modes are suitable for environmental data (temperature, etc).
3. Whenever an event is detected, it is transmitted. This is the most power efficient mode, ideal for collecting event based data.
Designed as a low power battery operated application, the chip "sleeps" most of the time and only wakes up to transmit or when it detects an edge on its digital sensor.
It will transmit the number of edges it receives in the interval, up to 255, plus three analog values. Range is up to 300' ideally, but more realistically about half that.
Designed for use with the
Receiver Shield.
